GarveyGirl (aka Sarah Garvey Cockerill) was born in Chicago in about as
natural of an environment as you can get – at home. As the oldest of five kids, she is used to compromise, making the best out of the resources she has and working in teams. She wasn’t as environmentally conscious as a youngster as she wishes, but it’s never to late to start. She has a BS in marketing from Boston College and MS in integrated marketing communications from Northwestern University. While new to the blog world, she hopes that this endeavor becomes easier and easier to do every day and gives a bit of advice to all the other green and eco-interested renovators out there.
GarveyGirl is married to Marc, a wonderful eco-conscious man from Michigan, and now lives in the South Loop in Chicago. Marc is just as excited to greenovate their townhouse. They are the proud parents of Rory Owen Cockerill born on March 12, 2010.

Awesome! Thanks. I’m would like to update my blog every few days, but usually don’t get the chance. I should have mentioned that I added you to mine last weekend since I love what you have done! It’s nice to have someone else that’s renovating at the same time as me.
